Puppy playtime

A special treat for you today: both Esa and Sarah's puppy Junior joined us at work today. As you'd expect, much mayhem ensued:

Junior comes in with a right hook:

Esa counters with his own:

Junior's face in this pic cracked me up:

Esa: Haha! I am on top!

Esa: Whoa, waitaminute...

Junior: You were saying?

Time for a quick water break:

And break time is over:

I have a ton of other pictures, but about 99.9999% of them look like I was on a Tilt-a-Whirl at the time I took them. I truly believe that if we could harness the energy of 6-month-old puppies we could power the planet for the next century or so...

I was going to just go with the dog pics and call it a day. But as I sat here sorting through them, I happened to glance up to notice a distinctly pinkish tinge to the sky I could see reflected in the windshield of my car, as I have an excellent view of the parking lot from my front window. So I stepped outside, camera in hand, to take a look, and just happened to notice this snippet of a rainbow almost directly over my head:

And this last one was my attempt at a more artistic shot, as I positioned myself in the parking lot so the edge of the cloud would match up with the trees:

I suppose I should be thankful for the rain we had today, as it helped produce the rainbow, the grass was turning brown, and all that. But as it seems to have brought the humidity back with it I think I'll call us even and leave it at that.
