For the first time in what feels like a century—but in actuality was closer to a fortnight or so—we had sunshine and clear skies out there today. After lunch and before settling in for some seriously overdue housecleaning, I went out and took a few photos in the area right around my apartment.
First, icicles hanging from the eave of a nearby building:
This was taken right across the walkway from the icicles:
Finally, as I walked back to my apartment the way the diagonal shadows of the branches looked against the vertical boards of the fence caught my eye:
