Here goes nothing.
I decided to set up this blog as part of starting a new project: posting at least one photo I've taken a day for the next 365 days. I first read about the idea on Lifehacker, and thought it would be a good way to try and encourage myself to do more photography, not to mention forcing me to write something every day.
So, since I'm ringing in the new year at my folks' place I decided to start with a guaranteed crowd-pleaser: cute doggie pictures. This is our family dog Kaylee, and I caught her resting up for my parents' annual New Year's Day soiree:
