Tranquil Tuesday

Just a few shots for you, all taken in the little wooded area next to my apartment complex—I realized today that the chain link fence just sorta ended in a somewhat random spot, leaving plenty of room for me to go around and take photos instead of having to aim through the gaps.

I liked how these spider webs looked in the afternoon light:





I had no idea what this shot would look like, given that the sun was in my face—I was expecting a lot of lens flare, if nothing else. It appears the photography gods were smiling on me, though, as I think it turned out pretty well:
