That's the sound of custard rustling.

I'm watching Top Gear at the moment, and that line just made both Greg and I crack up...

Between staying up too late watching the Olympics and having to be in town by 9 for an appointment, I didn't have much of a chance to take any photos this morning. In addition, it was my turn to work in the gallery today, which tied up a good portion of the daylight hours. So I figured as long as I was there I might as well get a couple of photos out of it. One thing that almost always captures the attention of visitors is the custom-made wrought iron chandelier hanging overhead just as they walk in:

The decorative work extends all the way to where the chandelier joins the ceiling:

When I got home, I stood outside for a bit to see if I could get any interesting bird shots, but there really wasn't much avian traffic at the feeder this afternoon. However, I did manage to snag a shot of a chickadee as it visited the bird bath on the porch rail:

Meanwhile, Kaylee is certainly enjoying having Greg home for the weekend:

And a couple more Kaylee shots, just for good measure:

  1. Wow. Love that chandelier. Thanks for showing us all the detail. This is at the museum? I have somehow missed noticing it both times I've been there.

Hugs to Kaylee, and a kick in pants to Greg (aw, not really - regards to Greg!).

  2. @ C and C

Yup, it's at the museum. Which means you have to visit at least one more time to check it out in person. ;)

  3. Okay. That chandelier is the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I'd love to see it in person one day.
