Kauai 2012: Mejiros

I  took quite a few pictures today, mostly of various birds, but after spending more than an hour sorting through them all and weeding out the sub par stuff, I find I only have the energy and brainpower to post a select few for right now. So I settled on some nice shots I got of some Mejiros, aka Japanese White-eyes, while the four of us visited our friend Don this morning. I love how nearly all of the houses around here are elevated, as being out on the lanai often puts me at eye level with the birds I'm trying to photograph:
