Seeing eye to eye

I had a somewhat busy day that included a stint working at the museum this afternoon, so just a few photos today of some birds that visited during a lull in the Saturday morning traffic past my window.

A Titmouse that was a rather messy eater:



I know the Goldfinch is kind of blurry, but I still liked how they were both looking in my direction:



As I watched the Goldfinch and White-breasted Nuthatch face off here I half-expected to see a tumbleweed come rolling by:



And finally, a close-up of a Goldfinch sitting on top of the hook that I thought came out pretty well:

  1. Titmice are such cartoon-looking birds. It must be the big eyes. The last shot of the goldfinch is magnificent.
