Snowflakes on wood
Weird day here weather-wise; we started with rain and temperatures in the 40s, and right now it's snowing and hovering around 32 degrees outside. Bird visits were few and far between while I was here at my apartment today, and with the precipitation I wasn't feeling all that inspired to wander around outside in search of something to photograph. So, just a single picture today, taken as I leaned out my front window. I liked how the snowflakes contrasted with the rain-darkened wood of the flower container, and I used the sill to brace the camera so I could open up the aperture enough to get some color in the shot as well:

Ooooh. I do hope you'll continue to share your work in the coming year, by the way, because your photos and commentary never fail to brighten my day. Not every day, just when the muse strikes.
