Mellow Monday

Not much was happening when I visited Nemesis Pond this afternoon. Not only was the kingfisher nowhere to be found, but all of the waterfowl were fairly quiet and inactive. I did spot the goose sitting on her nest in the reeds, although there was no sign of the gander nearby:



In lieu of avian action, I wandered around the edge of the woods for a bit, taking these two shots in the process:
