A few birds I photographed over the course of one gorgeous September day last year, starting with a Catbird I happened to notice in a tree by my office building:
A lucky catch that provides a look at the rusty feathers under the bird's tail:
This is the only decent shot I snagged of what I'm pretty sure is a Red-eyed Vireo up in the branches of a maple:
Later that evening at Mom and Dad's, we got to watch a female Cardinal feed one of her offspring:
I wonder if it itches because the adult plumage is coming in:
