Spring forward, fall back... to sleep

At least, that's what it was like for me when my alarm first went off this morning.

It was a rather dreary day here today, raining on and off most of the time. I didn't really feel like driving anywhere, so I decided to see what I might be able to take a picture of out the back door of the office. Trying to come up with interesting photographs within the relatively narrow parameters of the area in front of me made for a fun challenge; it forced me to stop and really pay attention to the smaller details, not to mention how I was composing my shots. I don't think I did too badly, but then I'm not the most unbiased observer either:

Finally, an extra Monday treat, taken this morning when I stopped by to pick something up at my folks' house:

  2. Not only did you not do badly, you did really, really well. I like the berries silhouetted against the sky and the fir tree branches are just plain pretty. Kaylee and her buddy are too cute for words.
