Rain, rain, come and stay

While things started out nice and sunny today, it was raining pretty steadily by the time I got home from work. Luckily I'd already taken a few pictures over the course of the day, so I've at least got a few to share.

No sign of the heron at work this morning, so you get heron tracks instead:





These next two shots of the museum's casting pond illustrate why absolutely no one I know will be complaining about the rain—the water level was a solid two feet lower than the edge of the bank, at least:
